On Sunday June 4, AIB Artistic Directors, students and welcome friends were invited guests at the historic mansion of industrialist Robert Cassatt, past President of the Pa Railroad and cousin of painter and American Impressionist painter Mary Cassatt. The visit was a special opportunity for a truly unique photo session that brought the beauty of classical ballet to a very historic location. The photos were taken during a three hour session featuring over 18 AIB dancers in several quite beautiful rooms of the 66 room mansion which was built in the grand French chateau style on a 106 acre estate in Rosemont, Radnor Township. All of us at AIB extend our sincere thanks to the management of Rosemont Presbyterian Village for their thoughtful invitation to visit and for such a very wonderful ballet experience.
